Why a Nationwide Warranty Matters
Most repair shops offer a local warranty. It’s only good at the shop that did the work. That’s fine while you’re home, but if a repair fails on the Thruway, on vacation, or after you move, a local warranty won’t help you much.
At TLC Auto & Truck Repair Center, qualifying repairs are backed by a nationwide parts and labor warranty. If a covered repair fails, you can have it fixed at a participating repair shop near wherever you are, in thousands of locations across the United States and Canada. Whether you’re across Long Island or across the country, your repair is still covered.

PAC Nationwide Parts & Labor Warranty
TLC is a member of the WORLDPAC Professional Automotive Community (PAC). Qualifying repairs come with a 24-month / 24,000-mile nationwide warranty at no charge. For extra peace of mind, you can upgrade to a full 36-month / 36,000-mile warranty.
The PAC warranty is administered by Sonsio Vehicle Protection, a company with more than 40 years of experience in vehicle protection. Its warranty network includes over 58,000 repair shops across the U.S. and Canada, so help is never far away.
TechNet Professional Nationwide Warranty
TLC is also an authorized TechNet Professional Automotive Service facility. Service and repairs performed here are covered by a nationwide limited repair warranty for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, and it’s honored at more than 15,000 locations across North America.
What’s Covered
Our nationwide warranty covers the repairs drivers need most, including:

- Air conditioning, heating & climate control
- Steering & suspension, wheel bearings, CV joints, half-shafts & driveshafts
- Engine cooling systems
- Electrical systems, starting & charging systems
- Engine performance & drivability repairs
- Engine management & on-board computer systems, cruise control
- Fuel, ignition, exhaust & emission control systems
- Clutch repair & replacement
- ADAS (driver-assistance) repairs & calibration
Like every warranty, there are some exclusions. Engine and transmission replacement and other internal engine work, tires and batteries, routine maintenance (oil changes, fluids, filters, wipers), body and glass work, used or customer-supplied parts, and damage from accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear are not covered. Nationwide coverage applies to cars, SUVs and light trucks. Commercial vehicles with more than 1 ton of load capacity are not covered by the nationwide program, so ask us about warranty coverage on fleet and heavy-duty truck work. How to Use Your Warranty
- Keep your TLC repair invoice. It’s your proof of coverage and you’ll need it for any warranty claim.
- Within 25 miles of our shop? Bring your vehicle back to us at 230 NY-109, Farmingdale, or call (631) 753-2211, and we’ll take care of it.
- More than 25 miles away? Call the nationwide warranty administrator before any work is done, and they’ll direct you to the nearest participating shop:
