In 1991, Peter and wife, Petra Saitta, opened up TLC Auto Repair Service Center based solely on a need they saw in their community.
Years before opening TLC, Peter and Petra took over a Mobile Gas Station in Farmingdale, when they had a young family to provide for.
They quickly noticed the need many of their customers have for honest automotive repairs that didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Open since 1991, TLC was born out of a need that Peter and Petra Saitta saw in the Farmingdale community. With no other local auto shops that offered fairly-priced and quality workmanship, they decided that this is how they could give back.
Originally doing just car repairs for family and friends, word-of-mouth spread around the community quickly. Now a successful shop, Peter and Petra’s son, Joe, is the Lead Service Advisor, and other son, Peter Jr., is the General Manager. Built by a family and founded on family values of honesty and integrity, TLC has continued to grow organically over the past 30 years.
