WHY IS BRAKE FLUID IMPORTANT?
Most vehicles have one or more kinds of brakes: disk brakes and drum brakes. These are connected to your system using a system of hoses. When you press on your brake pedal, it causes a plunger to push against a master cylinder. The cylinder pushes brake fluid into the brake system. This allows the brakes to work and the car to stop. No matter which type of brakes you have, brake fluid is a crucial part of what makes your car stop safely.
